I was cleaning up my art supplies this week and came across a card with the proverb “Just when the caterpillar thought the world was over, it became a butterfly.” Not too long ago I had made a monoprint with a Finnabair butterfly stencil, so I put the two ideas together and added the sentiment inside. (I couldn’t get all of the white panels to photograph as the same white, but they are in real life.)
