Global Pandemic
I started out with Hero Arts Peek-a-boo Drawers clear stamp from Hero Arts My Monthly Hero September 2019 to use as a bookcase, and added Tim Holtz paper doll. As I filled the case with bits and bobs, I thought of the influenza pandemic of 1918 and connected it with today. I found images of headlines and ads from that time and added them to the front. I cut out a window so you can see the globe on the shelf behind because we are in a global pandemic. Finally, I added the sentiment “I hope we can play together soon,” because I do.
